Money is not the root of all evil, besides the fact that the quote is incorrect. Lack of money is the root of evil. Wars and crimes tend to happen due to people lacking money or resources. The great thing about our current world is that there are more opportunities for people to do things, and therefore their lack of money is lessened, creating a more stable, peaceful world.
