The hardest person to forgive is yourself. And it’s vital to forgive yourself. Chances are everyone else has already forgotten and forgiven you for whatever it is you’re still feeling guilty for. Now you need to accept that you’re still holding on to that guilt… and then let it go. Remember the lessons you learned, but forgive yourself for it.
